Turkey Lettuce Wraps


Turkey Lettuce Wraps

1 lb Organic Ground Turkey
1 Tsp Ghee or Coconut Oil
½ Cup Shredded Carrots (you can buy them shredded or chop them fresh)
½ Vidalia Onion (chopped)
1 Cup Organic Button Mushrooms (chopped)
2 Tbs Fresh Basil (chopped)
1 Tsp Sea Salt
½ Tsp Cumin
1 Tsp Parsley
1 Avocado (chopped)
1 Head of Organic Boston Bib Lettuce (can use romaine as a substitute)

Wash and chop veggies (carrots, onion, and mushrooms). Add veggies to skillet with ghee or coconut oil and heat until they being to soften (5-10min). Add the ground turkey, basil, and spices. Mix and cover to allow the flavors to develop (7-10min). Cut the bib lettuce so you are left with large leaves, rinse and shake off excess water. Spread them out on plates and add the turkey scramble mixture to the middle of the leaves. Chop avocado and top off the lettuce wraps. Enjoy☺
