Biography

How long have you been part of the BluCru?

Since November 2017.

What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?

Biggest accomplishment was getting some kipping pull ups (started with one and then practicing I got 5 unbroken); followed by my first strict chin up after being 1 year into CrossFit (back in my country). It’s amazing how I got to BluPrint and 1-2 months later BOOM – never in my life did I think I was going to be able to get to that point! But I did with the help of my BluCru coaches!

What keeps you coming back to Bluprint Fitness?

My drive to improve on my gymnastics skills, different barbell movements and conditioning overall are what makes me want to wake up every day and train harder and harder.

What is your favorite thing to do at BP Fitness?

Favorite thing to do is long AMRAPs (20+ Min) that involve sweating type exercises (wall balls, row, KB swings, and barbell movements). Also, a barbell complex is very fun and challenging to do.

What would you tell someone considering joining?

I would tell them that CrossFit is the best way to challenge yourself in every aspect, and no better place to do it than Bluprint. I tried various other CF gyms in Chicago and by far this is the best. With BluPrint you not only gain conditioning, strength and gymnastics skills; but every day you leave with new relationships from all the people you meet.

What do you do for fun?

Literally workout. There is nothing more fun than spending a day at the box working on your weaknesses and surprising yourself with an ‘’OMG!!! Did you see that? I got my first ____ (blank).” Other than working out I love going to the movies, shopping and eating out at new and intriguing restaurants.

Coach’s Comments

Jesba has been putting in work through the 2018 Open Season. Hitting some of the workouts RX and showcasing her gymnastic progress with her kipping pull-ups and kipping T2B. When she isn’t in town she makes an effort to get her workouts in elsewhere following along with gym programming to stay on track! She recently got her first STRICT overhand pull-up! When you see Jesba in the gym make sure to congratulate her on all her hard work!
