Biography

How long have you been part of the BluCru?

Technically – Feb 2016, Realistically – Sep 2017

What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?

Outside of the tangible accomplishments I’ve had, I’d say the biggest accomplishment for me has been allowing myself to really get outside my comfort zone. Gyms have often been intimidating places for me, so to be able to come into Bluprint and feel welcome and really just give it my all has been particularly awesome.

What keeps you coming back to Bluprint Fitness?

The Community. As I’m sure it would be reiterated by every other member of Bluprint. The community here cares about each other, from the coaches on down. The coaches are very invested in your success and that is reflected in how they coach and foster an environment that allows the members to have fun and succeed. There’s constantly opportunities to get involved socially with the community which I think helps even more to build stronger bonds between the members so that when you come into the gym you’re actually working out with friends.

What is your favorite thing to do at BP Fitness?

My favorite thing to do at Bluprint is to just be constantly trying something new. There’s always some skill, or some lift that I can get better at and I enjoy embracing that challenge and trying (often failing haha) to get better.

What would you tell someone considering joining?

Just to come with an open mind. I guarantee that if you come in ready to work and a willingness to be uncomfortable at times, you will be rewarded with a community that is invested in you and a gym environment that will both be fun and challenging.

What do you do for fun?

I’m a big foodie, I’m constantly trying new restaurants and bars around the city trying to get the skinny on the next big thing. I also enjoy to sing, so you may catch me singing a rendition of “My Girl” at your local karaoke bar!

Coach’s Comments

Not only is Ethan’s Shoe Game off-the-chain (according to Byron and Selby), he has been crushing goals over the past year. From Kipping Pull-ups to Toes-2-Bar to Double-Unders; he is always practicing something. What is most refreshing about Ethan is his focus on continuous improvement. He masters one skill and makes a plan to conquer the next. We are excited to see his GAINZ after the SOGO Challenge with his recent focus on nutrition. When you see Ethan in the gym make sure to congratulate him on all the hard work!
