Erin Sian Williams – December 2017

Biography

How long have you been part of the BluCru?

Since DAY 1. CrossFitting since 2011.

What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?

Seeing myself as an athlete and treating myself like one. I don’t come from a sporty background (re: drama nerd) so first I had a lot to learn about pushing myself, body mechanics, and competition. The next level has been respecting the recovery and nutritional aspects that are necessary for truly improving and sustaining performance. Bluprint has been an incredible resource for this journey.

What keeps you coming back to Bluprint Fitness?

The programming is so well-thought out and purposeful. Crossfit can sometimes feel like you’re doing a million things just to do them but not at Bluprint. The program is geared towards specifically getting you stronger in your lifts, building your endurance and skills, in a very balanced and strategic manner. Plus, the coaches and athletes are an amazing, genuine group of people that I look forward to hanging out with.

What is your favorite thing to do at BP Fitness?

So hard to choose…right now anything on the rig. I’m working on pull ups and TTB and am taking every opportunity in WODs to practice.

What would you tell someone considering joining?

It’s so much more than a gym! You have access to incredible trainers, a variety of classes, results-driven programming and a community that will support you while they crack you up. It will quickly become something you really look forward to.

What do you do for fun?

Well, Bluprint is a major part of my week that falls under the “fun” category. But I also love to travel, try new restaurants, blog, and consume massive amounts of coffee around the city.

Coach’s Comments

As most of you have noticed, Erin has really stepped up her game over the past few months. Dialing in her nutrition by sticking to a plan and being consistent in the gym – attending class and practicing skills. Pull-ups, T2B, and decreased BF% are all byproducts of her hard work and dedication. When you see Erin around the gym, make sure to congratulate her on being a badass!
